How the platform will work

The platform is in active R&D. This page describes the intended experience for both riders and instructors when it launches.

  1. 01
    Download the app

The platform will be available on iOS and Android at launch, with PC support to follow. Create a free profile to get started.

  2. 02
    Pair your FTMS bike

Any FTMS-compatible smart bike connects via Bluetooth. Supported hardware will include Wahoo, Tacx, Elite, Wattbike, and other FTMS-certified devices. No proprietary dongle or adapter required.

  3. 03
    Browse live classes

Find upcoming sessions by instructor, time, or intensity. Each class shows the in-game environment, the instructor profile, and how many riders are registered.

  4. 04
    Join and ride

When the class goes live, your bike data streams into the world in real time. Cadence and power move your avatar. Your effort is visible to the instructor and to other riders in the session.

  5. 05
    Progress over time

The platform runs on a live-service model with seasonal content, class milestones, and unlockable progression. There will always be a reason to come back.

  1. 01
    Apply as a host

Freelance fitness instructors will be able to apply to host classes on the platform. Applications will be reviewed against fitness credentials and teaching background.

  2. 02
    Build your profile

Add your bio, specialisms, and style. Riders will follow you and be notified when you schedule new classes.

  3. 03
    Schedule your class

Pick a date, time, and in-game environment. Set a description and intensity rating. Publish it and registered riders can join immediately when it goes live.

  4. 04
    Go live

At class time, open the instructor view. Your voice and cues broadcast to all participants. You will be able to see every rider's live metrics — cadence, power, effort — in real time as you coach.

  5. 05
    Earn and grow

The earnings model is per session. The more participants, the more you earn. Run as many or as few sessions as your schedule allows.

What is FTMS?

Fitness Machine Control Service (FTMS) is an open Bluetooth standard that allows smart exercise equipment to communicate speed, cadence, power, and resistance data to any compatible application. Because FTMS is an open standard, any certified device works without vendor lock-in.

Hardware that will be compatible with the platform at launch includes Wahoo KICKR, Tacx NEO, Elite Direto, Wattbike Atom, and most modern FTMS-certified smart bikes. No custom firmware or proprietary adapters will be required.
